Basketball
5th thru 8th graders are allowed to participate.Teams play only at their designated grade level,athletes are allowed to play at their grade level or above but are not allowed to play below their grade level.
Girls basketball is played from November 1st through the middle of January.
Boys basketball is played from December 1st through the middle of March
All team members must qualify academically
All coaches are Virtus trained and have had background checks
We play in The Classic league which is made up of Catholic schools from the surrounding area
Each team will play one home and one away game against every other team at their grade level.
Each game game consists of 4- 6:00 minute quarters and are played under both Classic league and IHSA rules.
St. Louise has a long and successful tradition in basketball with last year’s 6th grade boys coming in 4th place.
